What changed in Lufthaven's list
- SWISS added: its first Starlink aircraft, A320neo HB-JDM, flew that day.
- United 737 N79521 marked as found without Starlink (messaging-only Wi-Fi on UA2051 San Francisco to Vancouver, checked on board).
- American (every mainline jet from early 2027), Frontier, KLM (long-haul from mid-2027) and Wizz Air added as announced. Aer Lingus A321neo and JSX ATR 42-600 fleets marked complete. British Airways counts moved to 11 of 12 Boeing 787-8s and 6 of 18 A350-1000s.
- United counts updated from United's own Fleet Radar, including every one of its 100 dual-class CRJ regional jets. Austrian A320neo OE-LXF named as fitted.
- Volaris, JetSMART, El Al, Royal Air Maroc, Singapore Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Vietjet added as announced. Emirates A350s moved from not getting it to planned. Emirates count: 53 of 232 777s and A380s on 2026-09-16.
How to check a specific flight
Starlink depends on the aircraft, not the flight number. Look at who operates the flight (a regional partner or codeshare flies its own aircraft) and the aircraft type on your booking, then find them in the tables above. The airline can swap the aircraft until departure, so check again on the day.
Lufthaven’s list knows three aircraft by registration so far: Austrian’s A320neo OE-LXF and SWISS’s A320neo HB-JDM have Starlink, and United’s N79521 was found without it on October 10.
Methodology and coverage
Source. This report is Lufthaven’s own Starlink list: the hand-kept table the Lufthaven app and its assistant tools answer Starlink questions from. It is built from airline press releases, airline fleet trackers such as United’s Fleet Radar, airline Wi-Fi pages, results filings and trade press. Each airline’s sources are in the CSV. The list is checked every week; the date each airline was last checked is in the tables (35 airlines, checked between 2026-09-21 and 2026-10-19).
Date. The list as it stood on October 20, 2026, after its weekly check dated October 19, read on October 21, 2026.
What is counted. An airline is flying Starlink when at least one of its aircraft types has it on some, most or every aircraft, or when it has named a fitted aircraft. It is announced when it has said it will fit Starlink and no aircraft is known to have it. Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are one row, as they share one owner and one loyalty program; Air France and its regional arm HOP are two rows. An airline that is not in the list has not announced Starlink as far as Lufthaven knows.
Limits. Counts come from different sources on different dates, from 2025-09-17 to 2026-10-15, and are not added together. The list tracks aircraft types, not routes: the only route-level notes are those in the tables. Lufthaven also learns which aircraft have Starlink when travelers using the app reach it over Starlink’s network in flight; a plane counts only after two travelers on two flights on two days, and as of October 21, 2026 no aircraft had met that bar, so none of this report comes from it.
Lufthaven’s other report: European airport security queues, October 2026.
