Lufthaven for Google Flights

Privacy Policy

Lufthaven for Google Flights is a Chrome extension by Compiler Inc. It shows whether flights listed on Google Flights are likely to have Starlink or other in-flight Wi-Fi.

Effective October 31, 2026

What it reads

The extension runs only on Google Flights pages. On those pages it reads, for each flight result, the airline code and flight number, the departure date, the departure and arrival airport codes and, once you open a result's details, the aircraft type Google shows for it (such as Boeing 777). It does not read your name, email address, search history, cookies, prices, passenger details or any other page content, and it does not run on any other website.

What it sends, and to whom

For each flight, the extension sends the flight number, departure date, departure airport code and, when Google shows it, the aircraft type to Lufthaven's Starlink lookup at https://lufthaven.app/api/starlink/check. That is the only network request it makes. Requests carry no cookies, account, device identifier or referrer. Lufthaven's servers keep standard request logs, such as IP address and time, to operate and secure the service.

What it stores

Answers are kept in Chrome's session storage until you close the browser, so the same flight is not looked up twice. Nothing is stored after the browser closes.

What it does not do

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels. Lufthaven does not sell or share this data and does not use it to build a profile of you.
